Faithful Neighbourhoods Centre, Birmingham

The Faithful Neighbourhoods Centre (FNC) exists to:

  • Provide a space where people of all faiths and none can meet one another
  • Resource Christians living in a multi-faith society
  • Support people as they discover ways of working together to improve and strengthen their local areas.

The FNC is home to a range of projects and activities that reflect the centre’s commitment to bring together community regeneration and interfaith relationships. While each group is distinctive all staff at the centre collaborate on work and help to create a hospitable, friendly and welcoming environment. Dr. Andrew Smith, Director of Interfaith Relations for the Bishop of Birmingham is based at the FNC and runs the P&E program from the centre. Jessica Foster, the Near Neighbours Development worker, is also based at the FNC and can be contacted about the Birmingham Near Neighbours program.
